How does coaching work?

Coaching can improve your riding in marathon, cross country, road, gravel, stage racing or enduro.You'll receive riding sessions to complete, with intervals prescribing heart rate or power targets, or race specific practice/ ride targets. Your coach's role is to build and monitor these parameters to prepare you for your event or season. Preparation takes time though! Your coach will give you guidance on cycling etiquette, ethics, racing, mental support, nutrition, recovery strategies and answer any questions you might have.

How much does it cost and what do I need to start?

How long does it take?

4 months of commitment is the minimum, if you are a regular rider. If you are currently not so active, longer preparation is needed. If you have a very specific goal, more time is needed. Many years of dedicated training will bring you better performance and many health benefits that will stand you in good stead throughout your life. ●Learning to understand your body is a major part of training and your coach's role is to track your improvement and discuss that with you. Whether your goal is to compete or to improve your race time or to simply enjoy your riding more, a training program monitored by a qualified coach is worthwhile.
